My 3 Favorite Things to do

Posted: March 18, 2011 in My Life

1. My all time favorite thing to do is ride my dirtbike and go camping with my family. I am really good at Moto because i have been doing it my whole life. There is nothing that compares to flying through the air after hitting a jump. It feels like time stops for a brief second. Camping is fun too. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and love fishing and just being at the campsite.

2. My second favorite thing would definitely be hunting. Hunting is fun because the longer you wait for the animal the higher the suspense builds. Some people do not see it that way. But thats how i feel. I also have learned that although im not the one being hunted i have to have a lot of respect for the animal being hunted. My grandpa had to explain to me that even though we are hunting them, these animals still die so we can live. We are not doing this because we just want to kill the animal, they provide us with food. Plus depending on what your hunting, the animal may hurt you so you need to be respectful and not let your ego get the best of you.

3. Three is probably fighting zombies with my friends. When me and my friend Shai pick up an Xbox controller, there is no stopping us when it comes to staying alive in “left 4 dead 2” Me and Shai ARE the ultimate zombie killing duo. Thats just all there is to it! haha

Life at TJ

Hello, my name is Tyler. I am currently a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School. My classes include Web Applications, World Literature, American History, French, Software Engineering, Botany, and Advanced Algebra. Each of these classes is difficult in its own way but I’m trying to keep my grades up. I love the computer magnet course because you learn a lot of neat stuff like making games and creating websites. Our school is known for our school spirit and sports teams. We have a basketball team that is very difficult to beat. Our motto here at TJ is “United we stand, Divided we fall!” This means that together there is nothing we can’t overcome. Now I do think we have some changes to make. Many kids do not like to show school spirit or help out their peers and i think that should change.                                                  Tyler Dodson
